The warehouse inventory is organised by title and covers every major era: Silver Age, Bronze Age, Copper Age and Modern.

 

Marvel Comics (60,000+ titles)

One of the deepest Marvel collections available in Singapore. Particularly strong in Spider-Man and X-Men, with extensive holdings of Avengers, Deadpool, Wolverine, Venom, Captain America, Hulk, Punisher and many more. Key issues, variant covers, virgin covers and licensed titles (including Transformers and Star Wars) are regularly stocked.

DC Comics (30,000+ titles)

Exceptionally strong Batman coverage (approaching near-complete runs of many series) and what is widely regarded as one of the largest Superman collections available locally. Wonder Woman, The Flash, Green Lantern, Aquaman, Vertigo titles and a broad range of key issues and variants are also well represented.

Indie & Independent Publishers

Image (Spawn, Youngblood, The Walking Dead and more), Sandman, Preacher, The Boys, Valiant, Dark Horse, IDW, BOOM! Studios and numerous obscure or low-print-run series that are difficult to find elsewhere in Singapore. The Indie section is a frequent reason first-time visitors describe the warehouse as “overwhelming” in the best possible way.

Pricing, Membership & Trade-In Terms

​

Comics are priced according to current collector market values, individual condition, demand and rarity. Prices are intended to reflect fair market rates rather than artificial mark-ups.

Free Membership & Store Credits

Membership is free. Members earn store credits on every purchase (typically 1 point per S$1 spent, with bonus credits available), referral rewards and Instagram-related incentives. Points convert into discount vouchers (12 points = S$1) that can be used online or in the warehouse.

 

Trade-In Programme

Comics Cove operates one of the most flexible comic trade-in programmes in Singapore. Bring in comics you no longer want and receive store credit based on an individual assessment of condition, demand, rarity and title popularity. Store credit is issued at a bonus rate above straight cash value and never expires. Credit can be spent on any title in the warehouse inventory and mixed with cash if needed.

Cash offers are also available for those exiting the hobby entirely. For collections of 1,000 books or more, a free island-wide doorstep pickup service is offered. There is no obligation to accept any offer.

A rotating Comic Bounty programme further rewards collectors who bring in specific wanted issues, with the option to take the reward as cash or boosted store credit.

Stock Availability & Fulfilment

​

The online store at comicscove.com displays a curated selection of the full inventory. The complete depth of more than 100,000 titles is available for browsing during an appointment at the IMM warehouse.

​

Online orders are pre-paid (commonly via PayNow). After payment, customers schedule a warehouse pickup (typically 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm, Monday to Saturday). Some items are listed as in-store only. International shipping is handled on a case-by-case basis — contact the team via WhatsApp for enquiries.

Because of continuous trade-ins and collection purchases, inventory turns over regularly. The best way to check availability of a specific issue is to message the team with the title and issue number before visiting.

Condition Grading & Handling

​

Every comic in the warehouse is individually bagged and boarded. Condition is assessed on the standard collector scale (Poor, Fair, Good, Very Good, Fine, Very Fine, Near Mint, Mint), which broadly corresponds to the CGC numeric scale from 0.5 to 10.0.

​

Condition is the single largest factor affecting value. Comics Cove accepts books in all conditions, including those with detached covers or loose pages, provided the title has collector demand or rarity. CGC- and CBCS-graded slabs are also bought and sold.

​

For the majority of books, professional grading before selling is unnecessary. High-grade key issues that could realistically achieve CGC 9.0 or higher may benefit from grading; the team can offer a quick opinion if you are unsure.

Practical Notes & Limitations

​

Comics Cove operates as a managed warehouse experience rather than a high-street walk-in retail shop:

• Visits are by appointment (especially important for large collections or sales). Weekday hours are generally 1:00 pm – 7:00 pm.

• The online catalogue shows only a portion of the physical inventory.

• Weekend access without prior arrangement is limited.

• International shipping is arranged case-by-case rather than as a standard service.

• Valuations are market-based assessments for buying, selling and trading purposes. Comics Cove does not provide investment advice or price predictions on collectibles.
