Action Comics #711, published in July 1995, features "Home and the Hollow Heart!", part seven of "The Death of Clark Kent" storyline. Superman faces his childhood friend turned foe, Conduit, who has systematically dismantled Clark Kent's life. The Man of Steel defeats Conduit in a climactic battle, but must still race to save Lois Lane, Jimmy Olsen, and his parents. This issue is notable for the death of the villain Conduit, and the final appearances of the Pete Ross and Lana Lang robots.
