Adventures Of Superman #545 1997

In "Adventures Of Superman" #545, Superman experiences a dramatic "Power Crisis!" where he becomes phantom-like, uncontrollably emits electricity, and is knocked out of phase with reality. He eventually converts to a pure energy form. The Atomic Skull, believing Superman's new energy output is from his imaginary foe, Dr. Electron, escapes and kidnaps Lois Lane.
