Batman Adventures #25 1994

Batman Adventures #25, published in 1994, presents "Super Friends," where Batman and Superman unite to thwart Maxie Zeus's plan to destroy Gotham with earthquakes. Lex Luthor is secretly manipulating events to secure a military contract. This issue is notable as the first animated-style team-up of the World's Finest heroes and marks the technical debut of Superman and Lex Luthor in the DC Animated Universe, preceding the animated series.
