Batman: Legends Of The Dark Knight #97, published by DC in August 1997, concludes the "Dirty Tricks" storyline. In this issue, Batman confronts the enigmatic assassin known as the Magician. The Dark Knight discovers the Magician is actually several CIA operatives. Teaming up with a retired undercover police officer, Batman works to stop the killer and the surge of gangland slayings their return has inspired.
