Batman Manbat #1 1995

This issue begins an Elseworlds miniseries where Batman faces a radically different Kirk Langstrom. Man-Bat, consumed by a demented vision, aims to populate the world with a new race of man-bats, pursuing a horrifying agenda of genocide. This story is notable for presenting a mature, alternate-reality interpretation of the Man-Bat character, offering a unique narrative outside of mainstream DC continuity.
