Black Panther #1 Variant

This is the landmark first issue of Black Panther's inaugural ongoing solo title from Marvel, published in 1977. Written and drawn by the legendary Jack Kirby, the story, "King Solomon's Frog!", sees Black Panther team up with antiquities collector Abner Little to recover a powerful time-traveling artifact. Their quest leads to a confrontation with Princess Zanda and the unexpected appearance of Hatch-22, a creature from the future. This issue is highly notable for collectors as the beginning of Black Panther's first dedicated series and the first appearance of the Collectors.
