Deadpool #1 2015

This is the inaugural issue of Deadpool's first ongoing series from Marvel, published in 1997. Written by Joe Kelly with art by Ed McGuinness, the story sees the Merc with a Mouth undertaking a seemingly simple mission to an Antarctic research station. The assignment quickly devolves into chaos as Deadpool encounters Sasquatch of Alpha Flight and discovers the station is far from abandoned. This issue is notable for establishing key elements of Deadpool's character and introducing his supporting cast, including the first appearance of Blind Al.
