Fighting American -1

Fighting American #1 from Awesome Entertainment reintroduces John Flagg as a super-soldier, equipped with a shield, battling new threats alongside his sidekick Speedboy. This issue is notable for being Rob Liefeld's modern take on the classic patriotic hero, directly influenced by his previous work on Captain America. It represents a significant, albeit controversial, attempt to revive the character for a new generation of collectors, marking a distinct creative direction.
