Iron Man #3 2005

Iron Man #3, published in July 1968, sees Tony Stark critically weakened after overstraining his armor during a heroic rescue. His deteriorating heart condition forces him to design a new, more advanced suit. Happy Hogan assists in its construction, but an accident involving a Cobalt Bombarder transforms him into the monstrous Freak once again. Iron Man must then confront his transformed friend to save Pepper Potts and revert Happy to his human form, all while debuting his newly designed armor. This issue is notable for Happy Hogan's re-emergence as the Freak and the introduction of Iron Man's updated suit.
