Nightcrawler #1
In this first issue of Nightcrawler's solo series, Kurt Wagner trains alone in the Danger Room, honing his acrobatic skills without teleportation. Kitty Pryde and Illyana Rasputin watch from the observation booth. He tells them a tale about the X-Men foe Vanisher and the Well at the Center of Time; Kitty later tries to recreate a simulacrum of the Well. A key issue for fans of Nightcrawler's character development.
