Spawn #43 Modern Age 1996

Spawn #43, published in February 1996, sees Sam and Twitch fired by Chief Banks after investigating his connection to Billy Kincaid. They leak evidence to the press, which Jason Wynn manipulates to frame Banks entirely. Cornered, Chief Banks commits suicide, a notable event in the series. Concurrently, Spawn continues his arduous recovery from the Curse's torture, slowly regaining strength and making his way back to New York.
