Superman #129 1997

Superman #129 (DC, 1959) presents three distinct narratives. In "The Ghost of Lois Lane," Superman believes Lois is deceased after a lab explosion, later discovering her trapped in the 4th Dimension. "Clark Kent, Fireman of Steel" follows Clark as he secretly employs his powers while covering Metropolis firefighters. Most significantly for collectors, "The Girl in Superman's Past" marks the first appearance and origin of Lori Lemaris, a mermaid from Atlantis who was a key college sweetheart for Clark Kent, becoming an important Silver Age character.
